Why ReLoc is not legal advice

ReLoc is a relocation guidance product. It is not a law firm, an immigration adviser, a tax adviser or a financial adviser, and it is not regulated as any of those. This is a limit we design around rather than a disclaimer we hide in a footer.

What that means in practice

ReLoc will:

• explain what a requirement generally is, and point you at the official source for it
• lay out the usual sequence of steps for a route, with dates on when each figure was checked
• help you keep track of what you have done and what is next

ReLoc will not:

• tell you whether you personally qualify for a visa or a permit
• estimate your chances of approval
• tell you what your tax position or residency status is
• tell you what to do about a refusal, an appeal, an overstay or anything else with a legal consequence

Why we hold that line

Those questions turn on the specifics of one person's history and on rules that change. Getting them wrong is not an inconvenience — it can cost someone their status. They need a qualified professional who can take responsibility for the answer, which a software product cannot do.

When we refer you out

If you contact support about something that needs a professional judgement, we will say so plainly, tell you what kind of professional to look for — a registered immigration adviser or lawyer, a qualified tax adviser, an employment lawyer — and help with the parts that are genuinely ours: the plan, the checklist, the product.

Every route figure links to the official source it came from. Before you act on anything — pay a fee, book an appointment, sign a contract — confirm it at that source or with a professional.
